Details of your policy excess can be found on the reverse of your Policy Schedule.

Do I need a green card to drive in the EU?
You don’t currently need a green card if you’re driving in:
- Countries in the European Union (EU)
- Countries in the European Economic Area (EEA)
In the event of a no-deal Brexit, after 29 March you’ll still be able to drive in countries in the EU, but you’ll need a green card to do so.
We’ll be able to provide our customers with a green card at no extra cost should you need one after Brexit. Although it should only take around a week for us to produce your green card and for you to receive it through the post, as with any travel documents it’s a good idea to give enough notice.
For journeys made between now and the end of March, you won’t need a green card – as long as you’re back in the UK before 29 March 2019.
Please contact us if:
- You’re leaving for Europe soon and are likely to be driving your car there past 29 March 2019
- You’re going to be taking your car to Europe after 29 March 2019
Five years and counting.
