Abigail is the Senior Content Manager and brings her extensive experience to help create engaging content that supports and looks out for our customers. She helps coordinate the whole team and keeps us on track!

Gareth Herincx
Motor writer and expert
Gareth is an experienced journalist and editor. For more than 30 years he's worked across the media in newspapers, magazines, TV, teletext, radio and online for household names including the BBC, GMTV, ITV and MSN.
Since 2013, Gareth has specialised in motoring. As well as being the editor of Automotive Blog and associate editor of ev.tips, he's a freelance contributor to various titles including HELLO!. He’s also a UK Car of the Year judge.
Tim Cattlin
Van writer and expert
Tim started his career selling vans in the 1980s, progressing through dealer groups to management level. In 2016, he started his own consultancy business dedicated to the light commercial vehicle (LCV) industry.
His work is featured regularly in ‘What Van?’ where he’s on the panel of judges for the annual ‘Van of the Year’ awards.

Mhairi Edwards
Head of Motor Product
Mhairi joined the Admiral Group back in 2010 as a life insurance analyst at Confused.com. In 2014, she moved to Admiral UK and became a product manager in our telematics team.
Since then, she’s taken on lots of different roles across the business. From improving our current products for loyal customers to helping launch brand new ones, she’s done it all.
In 2025, Mhairi became Head of Motor Product. Today, she’s focused on giving our motor customers the best experience possible.
Craig Codell
EV Product Manager
Craig joined Admiral in 2018 and was a core member of our strategy team, where he built up our knowledge of electric vehicles in the UK and internationally.
Now as EV Product Manager, Craig is passionate about delivering truly customer-focused products that reflect the needs of a growing EV market and to support the transition to net zero.
Nick Wilmot
Head of Household Product and Ancillaries
Nick Wilmot ACII is a Chartered Insurer with an MBA, bringing lots of experience to his role as Head of Household Product and Ancillaries at Admiral.
Since joining our Household team in 2021, he’s been focussing on delivering good customer outcomes and creating value for our home insurance customers.
Nick also works with the Chartered Insurance Institute to write study materials and support the next generation of insurance professionals.
Katie Johnson
Head of Landlord
Katie has been working in financial services for 12 years now, starting out as an actuary and moving into strategic leadership roles.
She joined Admiral in 2023 as the Head of Landlord Insurance and since then has been leading the charge on our landlord insurance!
She looks after our landlord strategy, leads our product development, and is all about growing our landlord business.
Gary Mitchell
Senior Travel Product Manager
Gary first joined Admiral back in 2003, starting out in our New Business Sales team. Over the years, he’s taken on a range of roles, building up his experience and knowledge along the way.
Today, as a Senior Travel Product Manager, Gary’s focus is simple: make our travel insurance work harder for our customers.
He’s all about helping people find cover that fits, while keeping pace with the ever-changing world of travel.
Nicole Fox
Veterinary Specialist
Nicki Fox is a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) who's been in the industry since 2000, working with some of the best vet teams across the UK and Europe.
She’s a keen advocate for responsible pet ownership and has additional qualifications including Level 3 Rehabilitation, Level 3 Canine and Feline Behaviour, and Level 4 Emergency and Critical Care Nursing.
Nicki’s been working with us since 2023, liaising with our Pet team and using her expertise to help offer reliable pet insurance to customers across the UK.
