How to add a car or van in MyAccount

It's as simple as logging in and adding the vehicle details, plus you'll save money with reduced admin fees by making policy changes in MyAccount.

You can combine multiple cars with MultiCar. If you want to add a van, you'll need MultiCover

Why use MyAccount

Did you know you can add a car or van to your existing cover online without needing to call us?

If you’re already a customer and you want to add another vehicle, you’ll get a MultiCar discount for each new car you add.

Admiral MultiCar offers the same cover as our standard cover but allows you to insure multiple cars on one policy – you’ll have just one renewal date and each one earns its own No Claims Bonus.

In just six simple steps you can manage your own policy and add a new vehicle. 

Step 1: Starting a quote

  • Use the link on this page to navigate to MyAccount and login
  • Click Get a quote

Step 2: Vehicle details

Next, we’ll need a few details about your vehicle such as:

  • When do you want cover to start?
  • What's the vehicle registration number?
  • Any security and modifications?
  • Where it's kept and how it's used

Step 3: Address

Confirm the address of the new vehicle is the same as the existing one on cover or if it’s not, simply add the new address.

Step 4: Drivers

Next, we’ll need information about the drivers on cover including:

  • Name
  • Relationship between drivers
  • Any No Claims Bonus
  • Any cancelled or refused car or van insurance

Step 5: Final summary

Almost there… Here you’ll see a breakdown of the cover including any excess, a recap of the information you’ve given, and the option to add any upgrades you want such as Breakdown Cover. You’ll need to contact us to get them added.

Step 6: Confirmation

This is the last step where you’ll see your price, payment details and schedule plus cancellation fee information. The last thing for you to do is click confirm – congratulations, you’ve successfully added another car or van to your Admiral cover!
