MyAccount makes it easy to add your home to your policy online

Did you know you can add a home to your existing cover online without needing to call us?

If you’re already a Single Car or MultiCar Insurance customer and you add your home, you’ll get a MultiCover discount.

Admiral MultiCover offers the same cover as our standard car and home insurance but allows you to combine them on one policy with just one renewal date.

Start earning MultiCover discounts in eight simple steps

Follow the steps below to add a home to your existing policy.

Step 1: Get a quote via MyAccount

  • Visit MyAccount and log in
  • Click Add to policy
  • Click Get a quote

Step 2: Tell us about your home

Next, we’ll need a few details:

  • The type of cover you want (buildings, contents or both)
  • Your address – select an existing one or add a new one
  • Policyholder – select an existing name or add a new person. You can also add a joint policyholder

Step 3: Check the assumptions

We’ll show you some assumptions we’ve made that cut out a lot of the usual questions – check them to make sure they're all OK.

Step 4: Tell us about previous claims and voluntary excess

Next you’ll tell us about any previous claims you’ve made, and choose your voluntary excess.

Step 5: Customise your cover

If you selected Contents cover or Buildings & Contents combined, you’ll have the option to add any extras you want such as cover for bikes over £350, high value items and personal possessions. If you chose Buildings only, you’ll automatically skip this step.

Step 6: Get your price

Here you’ll see a breakdown of the tiers available to you and the prices, so choose your tier and click Continue.

Step 7: Review

Almost there…

Check everything’s correct and review the policy documents before moving on to the final step.

Step 8: Confirmation

You’ll now see your price, payment details and schedule plus cancellation fee information. The last thing for you to do is click confirm – congratulations, you’ve successfully added a home to your Admiral cover!
