Cost of living

The cost of living crisis and your insurance

The cost of living crisis has hit millions of people in the UK. At Admiral, we want to support you through any worries you have about your insurance.

What is the cost of living crisis?

The cost of living crisis is a term used to describe the rising costs of everyday essentials, including food and energy, which have had an impact on everyone’s disposable income.

It's been happening since late 2021, mostly because of inflation. It’s left many people struggling financially.

Many people in the UK have less money to spend on recreational activities (like buying clothes and eating out), and are struggling to pay their bills, rent and insurance.

Support for money worries

The cost of insurance has risen over the past few years, whether it's for your car, home, pets or something else.

This is because of a range of reasons, including inflation and the rising cost of claims.

With the price increases, as well as the cost of living crisis, more of us might be struggling to pay for our policies.

If you're struggling with rising costs, it's best to reach out to us sooner rather than later for support. We might be able to offer flexible solutions or guidance based on your circumstances.

The best way to contact us is by completing our online form or using the contact details below.
