The Hygiene Bank
“Many people were at breaking point before Coronavirus hit, with one in five people in the UK living in poverty and the number expected to rise due to the knock-on effects of the pandemic. Those locked in poverty, or experiencing times of crisis, are faced with stressful weekly decisions like choosing to heat and light their home, pay their rent, eat or keep clean.
“As we move into winter, there are many people who simply cannot afford the products they need in order to stay clean, safe and well. That’s why the support of companies like Admiral is invaluable. We rely on, and greatly appreciate, companies who generously provide monetary donations to support the ever-growing needs of the communities we serve.
“We plan to use the donation from Admiral to ensure hygiene products are accessible for people who would otherwise not be able to afford them.”
