Cardiff Food Appeal
Cardiff Council launched a new appeal in April 2020 to support people in need with emergency food and essentials throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
Helping the vulnerable
The appeal was kickstarted with a £50,000 donation from Admiral and thanks to various other pledges and donations from the public is now close to £100,000.
The scheme will fund the sourcing and delivery of food and other essential items to some of the most vulnerable people in Cardiff, including those experiencing financial difficulties buying food and those who aren’t able to shop for themselves at this time.
All of the money raised from the appeal will be spent on food and essentials.
