How do I use Pharmacy2U?
Get a written prescription from your vet
Ask your vet for a written prescription. You'll need to pay for this but you may be able to claim it back later.
Find the medicine on the Pharmacy2U website
Head to the Pharmacy2U website to search for the medication your pet needs.
Set up your pet's profile
When it's time to checkout, set up your pet's profile and add some important details, like their age and weight.
Share a copy of your prescription
Upload a copy of the prescription from your vet - or if you'd rather, send it via email or post.
Track the order right to your door
They'll deliver your order right to your home! You can track its progress too, so you know exactly when to expect it.
See if you can claim the costs back from us
Start a claim and upload a copy of your receipt or invoice to claim the cost of medication and delivery back from us.
Heads up - you might not be able to claim for the cost of every pet medicine you order.
Before you start your claim, check your policy book to see what you can and can't claim for. And remember to check the excess you'll need to pay too.

You'll need to get in touch with us if your question is about:
- your policy
- if your pet prescription costs are eligible to claim back
- the progress of your claim
You'll need to speak to Pharmacy2U's customer support if your question is about:
- ordering
- uploading your prescription
- delivery or returns
What if my pet's condition isn't covered by my pet insurance?
We know it can be frustrating if your pet's condition isn't covered for any reason.
But buying medication through Pharmacy2U is still usually cheaper than buying through a vet practice - so you could still save some money!

Do I need to have a prescription to order medication from Pharmacy2U?
Not always. But even for non-prescription medication, a Pharmacy2U pharmacist will check your order is right for your pet by looking at their profile.
If it's a prescription medication, Pharmacy2U won't be able to send your order until you've attached it.
How do I get a prescription for my pet?
You'll need to speak to a licensed vet to get a prescription for your pet.
Pharmacy2U can then supply the medication once you've got the prescription.
Do I need to set up a Pharmacy2U account first?
Don't worry, you don't need to set up an account first.
Just pop your first item in your basket to get started. When it's time to checkout, you can set up your pet's profile and account.
Then next time you'd like to order something, you can log back in using those details or choose your registered pet at the checkout.
