We're proud to partner with the National Trust

A match made in heaven

We’ve teamed up with the National Trust to help look after nature, communities and play our part in tackling the climate crisis. We might be different – but we’ve got one really important thing in common. We care about protecting the world around us, now and in the future.

For the next three years, we’re going to be working together to make a real change to ecosystems and communities across the UK. From restoring peatland in Upper Conwy to reintroducing beavers to Exmoor National Park, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get stuck in.

You can read more about the projects we’re already working on below.
And there's lots more coming soon – we're just getting started!

Looking after what matters,
from the world around us
to the people living in it

Our partnership projects at a glance

Here’s everything we’ve worked on with the National Trust so far.

Restoring peatland in Eryri (Snowdonia)

We're working with the National Trust to restore our peatlands. These areas work like natural sponges, soaking up 20 times their weight in rain and floodwater. Over the last few decades, lots of peatlands have dried out or worn away, so they can’t do their job properly. By restoring them, we're helping to protect our communities from flooding.

Reintroducing beavers to Exmoor National Park

With our support, the National Trust is working on some new ways to help nature thrive. And we've brought in some very special helpers – beavers! After 400 years, they’re back in the UK. The dams they build help slow down water, reduce flood risks, and create safe homes for wildlife.

Restoring rivers in the Lake District

We're helping to restore the River Liza back to its natural path and reconnecting it with its floodplains. We're also creating 17 hectares of wetland areas, perfect for storing extra rain and flood water. And we’ll be setting up a new river monitoring system to get real time insights on water levels.
