Trio of winners at Company Van Today Awards

Three almost identical vans owned by the PSA Group have scooped the top accolade at the inaugural Company Van Today Awards.

Citroen-Berlingo-Van

The Citroën Berlingo, Peugeot Partner and Vauxhall Combo Cargo have all been named Van of the Year.

And the awards didn’t stop there, the three also won Light Van of the Year and the Technology Award, for their overload sensor, which alerts drivers if their load is too heavy.

Medium Van of the Year went to the Ford Transit Custom and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter took Large Van of the Year.

The Volkswagen Amarok took Pick-up of the Year and the Green Award went to Renault for its range of electric vehicles.

Finally, the Freight Transport Association was recognised for its mental health initiative CALM, and for that it got the CVT Innovation Award.

The aim of the Company Van Today awards is to reward the best light commercial vehicles in the industry. It takes into account:

  • Van running costs
  • Efficiency
  • Smart features that help businesses do their jobs day to day.
