A message about the Luton car park fire

As the UK’s biggest motor insurer, we're committed to supporting customers directly affected by the tragic Luton airport fire earlier this month.

We understand this has been very distressing for everyone involved and have prioritised these customers to help them recover and get back on the road as quickly as possible.

To support customers affected by this fire, we have waived all excess fees relating to the incident and protected their No Claims Bonus discounts so that future policies aren’t affected by the claim.

We’ve also offered them £150 each to cover any associated onward travel following this event so they are not left out of pocket due to the disruption to their trip. Settlements and payments will be fast-tracked as a matter of urgency.

We hope this offers some reassurance and peace of mind to customers who have experienced this traumatic event and would like to thank them for their patience while we worked through the complexities of this incident.
