These terms and conditions apply to the cover provided for a 6 month free bp pulse subscription (“the Subscription”)
Please read these in conjunction with Your Van Insurance Guide for the full terms and conditions of your policy.
Additional terms and conditions will also be applicable upon downloading the bp pulse app (“the App”)
Your policy qualifies for a 6 month free subscription with bp pulse, which includes a £27 charging credit and discounted rates for charging your electric vehicle on the go when using the bp pulse network.
The offer applies to qualifying policies purchased between the offer period 4th September 2023 to 3rd September 2024
- You will be required to download the App, register your details and enter the offer code during the registration process. The offer code will be sent to you via email within 7 days from when your vehicle is on cover. As an example, if you purchased your policy on Monday 4th September with the cover starting from Tuesday 5th September, the offer code will be sent within 7 days of Tuesday 5th September.
- 1 free subscription per policy i.e. if there is more than 1 electric vehicle on the policy you will only receive 1 redemption code, however the bp pulse subscription can be used on any electric vehicle.
- 6 months free subscription with bp pulse (usually £7.85 per month)
- £27.00 charging credit to use towards charging your electric vehicle with bp pulse. This will automatically be applied to your bp pulse account in the first month of the Subscription.
- Discounted tariff for charging your electric vehicle when using the bp pulse charging network. Please see the bp pulse website for further details.
- You are required to enter your billing and bank account details into the Account section of the App. Bp pulse will issue a monthly bill for any charging credit you have used in that month i.e. you will not be charged after each charging session, all charging sessions from that month will be billed on one invoice and taken from your direct debit details.
- You will not be charged the £7.85 monthly Subscription fee, for the first 6 months.
- You can cancel the Subscription at any time within the App. By cancelling the Subscription, your account will revert to a pay as you go account, which requires you to add credit to your account in order to access charging. Full terms and conditions for the pay as you go account are available within the App or via the bp pulse website.
- Additionally, you can request to completely remove your account, which will delete your account across all bp apps. Account removal is completed via the App.
- After the 6 month free subscription period ends, a monthly subscription fee of £7.85 will be deducted from our account. If you do not wish to continue with the Subscription beyond the free 6 month period you will need to cancel within the App or request to delete your account as above.
- If you cancel your insurance policy with us before the 6 month free subscription period ends, you will still have access to the free 6 month subscription, however the same cancellation process applies as above.
- Full terms and conditions for use of the bp pulse network and the subscription will be available in the bp pulse app.
