Did you know you can add a home to your existing cover online without needing to call us?
If you’re already a Single Car or MultiCar Insurance customer and you add your home, you’ll get a MultiCover discount.
Admiral MultiCover offers the same cover as our standard car and home insurance but allows you to combine them on one policy with just one renewal date.
Start earning MultiCover discounts in eight simple steps
Follow the steps below to add a home to your existing policy.
Step 1: Get a quote via MyAccount
- Visit MyAccount and log in
- Click Add to policy
- Click Get a quote
Step 2: Tell us about your home
Next, we’ll need a few details:
- The type of cover you want (buildings, contents or both)
- Your address – select an existing one or add a new one
- Policyholder – select an existing name or add a new person. You can also add a joint policyholder
Step 3: Check the assumptions
We’ll show you some assumptions we’ve made that cut out a lot of the usual questions – check them to make sure they're all OK.
Step 4: Tell us about previous claims and voluntary excess
Next you’ll tell us about any previous claims you’ve made, and choose your voluntary excess.
Step 5: Customise your cover
If you selected Contents cover or Buildings & Contents combined, you’ll have the option to add any extras you want such as cover for bikes over £350, high value items and personal possessions. If you chose Buildings only, you’ll automatically skip this step.
Step 6: Get your price
Here you’ll see a breakdown of the tiers available to you and the prices, so choose your tier and click Continue.
Step 7: Review
Almost there…
Check everything’s correct and review the policy documents before moving on to the final step.
Step 8: Confirmation
You’ll now see your price, payment details and schedule plus cancellation fee information. The last thing for you to do is click confirm – congratulations, you’ve successfully added a home to your Admiral cover!

Terms and conditions Amazon.co.uk Gift Card Home Prize Draw
Terms and Conditions for entry into a Prize Draw to win a £50 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card for existing car customers who add an Admiral Home Policy to their existing Car Policy or who purchase a new Home Policy.
- Admiral is a trading name of EUI Limited. (Reg No: 02686904) whose registered address is Ty Admiral, David Street, Cardiff, CF10 2EH (the "Promoter")
- This prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is open to new customers and existing car insurance customers who receive the Admiral promotional email.
- Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- Prize Draw details: (i) new customers who buy a Home Insurance Policy, any tier, directly via www.admiral.com or via telephone and who have received the Admiral promotional email; and (ii) existing car insurance customers who add a Home Policy to their existing Car Policy and who have received the Admiral promotional email will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw where 1 in 10 entrants will win a £50 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card (the “Prize”).
- The Prize Draw opens on 8th November 00:01am (the "Opening Date") and closes on 20th December 2022 (the “Closing Date”). Any Admiral Home Insurance policies purchased before the Opening Date or after the Closing Date will not be eligible for entry into the Prize Draw.
- Quotes accepted on price comparison websites or started via price comparison websites and completed through the Promoter via telephone will not be eligible for entry into the Prize Draw.
- Only one entry into the Prize Draw per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
- Winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Prize Draw will be performed by a random computer process. The draw will take place within 21 days of the closing date.
- Each winner will receive an Amazon.co.uk Gift Card of £50.
- The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the Prize Draw closing.
- The Prizes will be sent by email to the winners in the form of Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards.
- The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
- Admiral retains the right to substitute the Prizes with another prize of similar value in the event that the original Prize offered is not available.
- Should the customer cancel their policy at any point during the 14-day policy cancellation period, the Promoter's standard cancellation terms will apply and the customer will no longer qualify for entry into the Prize Draw.
- Entrants will require access to the internet to enter the Prize Draw. The Promoter shall not be liable for any technical or computer failures of any kind that limit or prevent any entrant entering the Prize Draw and/or prevent any entrant from purchasing an Admiral Home Insurance policy.
- Applications for insurance policies provided by the Promoter are subject to its normal terms and conditions including underwriting criteria. The Promoter reserves the right to decline any application for any insurance policy at its absolute discretion and is not obliged to disclose any reason for rejection. In these cases, the customer will not be eligible for entry into the Prize Draw.
- Any fraudulent activity or abuse relating to the promotion may result in the forfeiture of the promotion and termination of the insurance policy.
- Entries that are incomplete, delayed, not received for whatever reason or not in accordance with the entry instructions will not be accepted.
- Participants can request the winners' names and countries of residence any time after the Closing Date and before 9th January by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to EUI Limited, ECRM Team, Marketing Department, Tŷ Admiral, David Street, Cardiff, CF10 2EH.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Amazon.
- The Promotor shall not be liable for any failings, disruptions or cancellations cases to the Prize Draw unless they are caused by the Promotor's negligence.
