Who pays if there’s more than one person on the policy?

The policy administrator is responsible for reviewing the paperwork and payment. Still, each policyholder can access their customer portal to check the price for their car or home, documents and to update information.

Can all policyholders and named drivers make changes or claims on the policy?

Yes.
One policy administrator named on the account looks after the paperwork and communications. However, any policyholder and named driver can call us to make a claim or change the details.
Designated drivers can only make changes to their cars or home.

Will a motor claim affect my home insurance on Multi Cover?

No – if someone makes a car insurance claim on your Multi Cover policy, your home insurance won’t be affected.

What do you class as immediate family?

Immediate family includes a person’s partner, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, mother in law and father in law, brothers in law and sisters in law, daughters in law and sons in law. Adopted, half, and step members are also included in immediate family.

How can I pay for my MultiCover policy?

You can pay monthly through Direct Debit or annually with a single payment.

£40 cash reward terms and conditions

  1. Admiral (The “Promoter”) is a trading name of EUI Limited, (Company Number 02686904) whose registered office is at Ty Admiral, David Street, Cardiff, CF10 2EH.
  2. This promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to all policyholders who: (i) upgrade a single Admiral motor or home insurance policy to an Admiral Multi policy; and (ii) have an active Admiral Rewards account at the time of the upgrade.
  3. UK residents and applicants over the age of 17 only are eligible and the Promotion is paid subject to status.
  4. To enter the Promotion eligible policyholders must either:
    a. click the tracked link via the Admiral Rewards website and generate a new policy quote;

    b. purchase the policy immediately using that quote to be eligible for any cash rewards; and

    c. provide the correct quote reference number if calling to accept.

    OR

    d. complete and purchase a new MultiCover quote to add a car or home to your existing policy with Promoter; and

    e. be signed up to the Admiral Rewards platform upon the start date of their upgrade.
  5. All eligible policyholders will receive a deposit of £40.00 to their Admiral Rewards account wallet (the “Reward”).
  6. Whilst the vast majority of Admiral Reward transactions are successful, occasionally a transaction may not get reported. if you believe this to be the case, please submit a ‘Missing Cash Rewards’ query via the Admiral Rewards website within 30 days of the new policy start date.
  7. The Reward will be paid to the policyholder’s Admiral Rewards wallet 14 days after the Admiral Multi policy start date.
  8. Should the policyholder cancel their new policy at any point during the 14-day cancellation period, the Promoter’s standard cancellation terms will apply, and the policyholder will no longer qualify for the Reward. Policyholders who cancel after the cooling off period, will be subject to the Promoter’s mid-term cancellation terms.
  9. The Promotion begins on 01/09/20 and will be applicable until further notice. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Promotion at any point.
  10. The Reward will not be paid in conjunction with any other promotions, offers, vouchers or discount codes including any other student or staff discounts unless listed on this page.
  11. This Promotion only applies to Admiral branded policies, not those in the Admiral Group. For the avoidance of doubt this includes consists of Ford Insure, AA, Diamond, Elephant an Bell.
  12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  13. Eligible policyholders are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Reward to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  14. The terms and conditions of this Promotion do not alter or vary the terms and conditions of any Admiral insurance policy which may be purchased.
  15. Standard Admiral Rewards terms and conditions will govern the use and access of the policyholder’s Admiral Rewards account.
  16. Applications for Admiral insurance policies provided are subject to its normal terms and conditions including its underwriting criteria. The Promoter reserves the right to decline any application for any insurance policy at its absolute discretion and is not obliged to disclose any reason for rejection. In these cases, the customer will not be eligible to receive the Reward.
  17. Any fraudulent activity or abuse relating to the receipt and use of the Reward may result in the forfeiture of the Reward and termination of the insurance policy.
  18. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  19. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the policyholder or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Reward except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  20. Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's Privacy Notice
  21. The Reward will only be paid for purchases made from within the United Kingdom
  22. The Promoter shall not be liable for any technical or computer failures of any kind that limit or prevent the customer from obtaining an insurance quote, unless caused by the Promoter’s negligence.
  23. These terms and conditions are to be governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
