Extra cover for an accident
Personal Injury Cover runs alongside your active Admiral Car Insurance policy, which normally lasts for 12 months.
Of course we hope it never happens, but if you suffer an injury in a car accident, your confidence and lifestyle can take a knock too. Your Admiral Car Insurance policy already includes £5,000 Personal Injury Cover (comprehensive polices only) but cover is limited to the policyholder and partner and doesn't include other named drivers.
Adding our Personal Injury Cover provides the extra comfort of up to £50,000, giving you peace of mind and extra financial protection for you and your family. The benefit limit for Personal Injury Plus Cover is up to £100,000.
Buying Personal Injury Cover/Personal Injury Plus Cover
Personal Injury Cover/Personal Injury Plus Cover is normally added when buying your car insurance. Either select the option when you buy online or tell us when you call for a quote.
- Up to £50,000 or £100,000 extra cover for Personal Injury Cover against accidental death, serious injury and minor injuries which includes fractures and burns
- Covers the policyholder and named drivers Named drivers are covered whether they're driving or just a passenger in the insured car
- Protection while travelling in other cars Provides Personal Injury Cover for the policyholder only while in any other privately insured car in the UK
- Covered whether fault or non-fault You're covered whether the accident is your fault or not
- Uninsured driver protection Covers you if you're hit in your car by an uninsured driver
- Runs alongside life insurance Pays out alongside any other life insurance you may have
