Family days out

Busy lifestyles can have a real impact on how much time families spend together, but a great way to be together is to go on a family outing at the weekend.

We want to inspire families to get out of the house and go on family outings in their free time, and the great news is that fun-filled outings, which are perfect for adults and children alike, don't have to cost a lot of money or even take hours of preparation.

We've joined forces with TV's Michaela Strachan and asked kids what their perfect family outing would be, plus we've put together a video full of tips and advice to help inspire you to bring back the weekend outing for your family.

That's not all; we've also put together the Family Fun Journeys Podcast containing games such as I Spy and Pick That Sound and songs for everyone in the car to join in with. There are even some hints and tips on travelling with children and some in-car games and colouring-in templates.
