Payment Holiday

What is Payment Holiday?

Payment Holiday allows you to take a month off from paying your car insurance premium. For a small admin fee which we spread over the term of your car insurance policy, you can take a break from paying you car insurance premium in a month of your choice. However, we do ask that this is not within the first two months or the last month of the car insurance policy.

How do I take out Payment Holiday?

Payment Holiday is only available when you choose to spread the cost of your car insurance by paying in monthly instalments. Call us on 0800 118 1611 (for MultiCar please call 0800 600 880) and let us know which when you’d like to take your Payment Holiday.

What are the benefits of Payment Holiday?

Payment Holiday puts you in control by giving you the option of taking a break from paying your car insurance premium when you need to most. The holiday instalment is respread over the other instalments.

Why do I need Payment Holiday?

If you find there’s normally one month of the year where your outgoings are higher than usual you could benefit from taking a Payment Holiday. We find most customers like to take their Payment Holiday in December but you could also consider the month you plan to go on holiday, or maybe even the month of your birthday as a special treat for yourself!
