Instalment Payment Protection aims to cover the cost of your monthly car insurance if you are out of work as a result of accident, illness, unemployment or hospitalisation.
How do I take out Instalment Payment Protection?
Instalment Payment Protection is
only available when you choose to spread the cost of
your car insurance by paying in monthly instalments.
You will also need to have been employed or self-employed
for 6 consecutive months at the start date to be eligible
for cover. Call us on 0800 118 1611 and ask us about Instalment Payment Protection.
What are the benefits of Instalment Payment Protection?
Instalment Payment Protection takes the worry out of having to find the money to cover your car insurance premiums in the event of you being unable to work due to accident, illness, unemployment or hospitalisation. Admiral’s Instalment Payment Protection comes with the following great benefits:
Regular monthly payments for up to 12 months
Monthly benefit of up to £250
Only £2.50 per month!
Why do I need Instalment Payment Protection?
You’d still need to be able to get from A to B if you were off work due to accident, illness, unemployment or hospitalisation. But would you be able to afford to pay your car insurance premiums? If you are entitled to sick pay from your employer its worth checking whether this will reduce or cut out all together after a certain period of time. There is of course statutory sick pay but at just £72.55 per week would this be enough to cover all of your outgoings? Instalment Payment Protection will take care of your car insurance premiums for just £2.50 per month giving you one less thing to worry about.
How long does my Instalment Payment Protection last?
Your Instalment Payment Protection runs alongside
your Admiral motor insurance policy. This means that
cover will normally last for 12 or 10 months (depending
on whether you have a standard or a bonus accelerator
motor insurance policy).
