Extra Cover

In case of emergency

You can also call on our help if you have a domestic emergency - such as a flooding washing machine or broken boiler. If you choose to add Home Emergency Assistance to your policy, an approved supplier will rush over and rescue the situation with an emergency repair, with up to £500 towards labour and parts.

You can add Extra Cover to Buildings insurance, Contents insurance or Buildings and Contents insurance.

On Contents policies it lets you extend the accidental damage cover to protect against those other incidents that are part of life - like a red wine stain on your pale carpet or sofa. You can also extend the cover on your personal possessions, like jewellery, watches, cameras, clothes and even bicycles, to protect them when you're out and about. And if you have a bicycle worth more than £500, you can take out Extra Cover for that too.

Help with legal cases too

There are other options with Extra Cover too. Adding Family Legal Protection covers you or a member of your household, for up to £50,000 of costs incurred while pursuing or defending a claim covered under the policy.
