Financial intermediary Admiral has found that owning one of these cars
is more affordable than you may think. The Mitsubishi Evolution VIII 260
and Subaru Impreza WRX Sti can both be insured for under £1,000.
In fact, Admiral found that in two of the three case studies it looked
at, both vehicles can be insured for under £700.
Admiral Managing Director, Jane Stone, said, "The popularity of
the World Rally Championship is growing every year, and more and more
people are reliving the action by buying high performance replicas.
"For what they offer, cars such as the Mitsubishi and Subaru are
great value for money at £24,000, and being able to insure them
for less than £1,000 makes them even more accessible."
